It's nothing special, what you watch and think "omg this is so good, i wanna do something good like this too" - with other words: You will forget that amv soon. It has almost nothing special in it - not originality, no visual effects, no lipsync, no (for song important) visible flow. Why 2nd place?  - Chris when you read this, please dont feel personally offended.

Underrated
YukikoAMV - Victorious Alice 10th place

Same song like Kyoroichi's vid. Pretty fitting "intro" to the song, the black white, which emphasizes the song. Also nice timing, where the girls turn around. Badass timing with the little "fun things". Where that nichijou girl hits the floor in the beat of the music for instance. Great moment on 0:46 where the girl gets into the screen and lipsyncs "harder". All in all, me as a viewer, i have more fun watching Yukiko's AMV.

ME: Hyperion - OSU!NG - 9th Place

Just to be short on this one: Original idea, something new in the AMV world, a lot of masking in 3 days, figuring out everything how to do in AE in 3 days. Great timing parts, like the "Yeah's" in the song. But i also see SOME neg. points.

However, also the drama/romance category has a lot fails. EllipseIris's AMV should have ranked A LOT higher than it should for instance, but my text gets too long, so i will stop on this point.

To STK: I am asking myself if all of you are that blind in good amv's. Not just you 3 guys, also the whole studio. Srsly, why? I am dissapointed of you guys.

Well i didn´t want to post any comment about the ranking but i must agree with Anicsi... I mean, i´m sure we all have different points of view but i just cannot agree with a few decisions that the judges made this time. It is only my personal opinion of course, but i feel that there were many videos in the dance and the romance cathegory that should have been ranked way higher or lower. Personally i was dissapointed with my own rank, not gonna lie, i worked pretty hard in the scene selection, the coloring and the timing to make everything flow better and create a peaceful atmosphere, it is true what MDL said but i thought that that was what i needed to do because of the music (which was way softer that the other ones), of course it is up to personal tastes but i still think it was a solid edit, but it´s not only about my video, there were so many videos that were underrated in my opinion, like yukikoAMV´s and EllipseIris, there are more but those two really deserved to be placed higher.

I´m not whining though, i have absolute respect for the judges opinions, but i just wanted to say it, at the end the judges have their own criteria, and different points of view, they must have their reasons to rank the entries like that.

Well he's right (i mean Luciole) XDDD Cuz its the main gift for this IC. But yea in something you're right, for example Yukiko's amv...and Draga's 4th place xDDD But i dont care too much about that. Overall results looks good and yea everyone have different points about how amv should be looks

You're kidding me? Victorious Alice and your vid are the reasons why you're disappointed about the ranking in this category? You're talking about videos where the music wasn't correctly mastered by the editors, please, be serious.

Sure, sure there were maskings, good guys, but look, in Victorious Alice there is that Yogurting moment lasting so long like... it's not even truly edited by the editor, the original video makes all the work, starting from 1 minute, pace is ok but it should be better and I'm not talking about the end where the editor just puts long dancing scenes because you know, it's a dance video   
No offense to the editor, I don't like to bash a vid this way, particularly when the vid is actually cool to watch like this one but I just try to explain why it's not as high as u would expect it to be
And for your own video, apart from the "osu" concept, there's nothing good, the very first scene proves it : Hitagi falling with random numbers around her ain't proper editing, you don't know how to handle the song expected when the singer says "yeah yeah yeah" so please... stop complaining. Not saying you didn't spend time on your video, but we all did, I put effort in my vid too but judges have their reason. Tbh, I got disappointed about blossomangel and draga rankings, blossom is too low and draga too high for me but hey, we can't agree on everything, that's pretty much the concept of entering a contest where you'll be judged, YOU ACCEPT THE JUDGEMENT YOU'LL RECEIVE. Yeah you can disagree but basically, once the ranking is known, it's too late dude

About the romance category, I didn't even watch most of the vids, pretty sure it'll get me to sleep so I can't even give comment on the ranking but still, from the dance category, I can already agree with KxS, during ICs, most of the vids look the same so it's not masking which will make the judges surprised... It's true that having a concept like the "osu" one is a real good idea but then u have to make it properly and not to just hope it'll make the whole work of convincing.

P.S : And here people thought I got mad to MCHY lol

I'm sorry for a certain answer, really. I know the results is an importante subject to debate and all your opinions are rights. I like reading different point of views and to learn how the others makers judge the amvs. The results are always a difficult subject, we have not the same criteria or style, we need to compose with that.

This is why I'm here if you want to discuss about something, this is your right to know about a decision after all. But the results are here and they probably not change :/ but an explication can give answers.

PS : You can add me on skype (crossmarian69) to know my opinion, but not at the same time pls XD, my english is bad so this is the reason I doesn't speak here.
