Hello AMV Editors, we are BACK!Well it's not that big of a surprise, since we've been hosting the same contest for over 12 years now.
But yeah, we're here once again, because it's that time of year - STIC time!
It's the moment of the year, where YOU as an AMV editor, will experience the most intense emotions, within just a short amount of time. From the moment you begin and are full of hype, to the moment you become lazy and disappointed to finish usually in relieve or sadness. (or the other way around).
These 3 days will be tough, as you know. You'll barely sleep, edit a lot, and drink way too much soda and shitty energy drinks (or coffee, if you're one of the good people out there.)
It will be detrimental to both your physical and mental health, however the results will prove worth it,
once you earn your special place in the COLISEUM.
I hope you guys are ready to enter the COLISEUM, and represent your team in one of the 6 categories.
Either you'll win the glory, or die in the gladiator pit.

You "simply" make a video within a limited time (here 72h) using one of the music tracks we provide at the start time.
MAKE A TEAM OF 3 EDITORS and register it. (registration rules below)
1 team = 3 editors
1 editor = 1 category and 1 AMV
2 rankings:- A ranking by category
- A general team ranking will be made according to the individual ranking of your teammates
(example: X is 2nd in DANCE category, Y is 1st in FUN category and Z is 42th in PSYCHE category. Z has just screwed up your team ranking).
Basically if you really want to win this IC, get the highest rank in your category and make sure your teammates don't drop. Both arent easy, so GL.
Common sense reminder: EVERYTHING must be edited exclusively for STIC, starting at the moment the music is made available.Don't try us with scenes stolen from other AMVs. We know exactly what you are doing. We have the third eye.
Common sense reminder 2: garbage / hentai sources, sexual assaults scenes, or any kind of visual assault will be punished very severely with a free fall in the rankings.There are many young people who also participate in this contest, so be reasonable with your scene selection.

2/ Find an amazing team name and make an even more amazing banner to represent your team (I'm kidding, we all know you'll just pick random names and banners)3/ USE THE FORM AT THE END OF THE THREAD TO REGISTER YOUR TEAM. If you dont use it, you will make our admin very angry, and your registration will not be effective.
4/ Each of you will have to choose a category from the 6 available.5/ When the contest starts, we will provide download links for the music pack. CHOOSE A SONG TO EDIT IN THE CATEGORY YOU'RE JOINING.6/ Once you finish your AMV, you will upload it using the link we provide to your team's captain. (use only that link)7/ Wait for results. You can share your amv in the meantime - there's no restriction on that. -----------------------------------------------------

Our pick of the best video of the contest will bring 5 extra points to the creator's team.

-----------------------------------------------------To avoid having misplacements in the lower rankings, for big categories we're going to rank the videos a little differently this year.
(if the number of videos makes it possible)
Each category will showcase the top 20 best AMVs.
Any AMVs ranked below the top 20, will be ranked by tiers, in packs of 10, at random placement, with the same amount of points depending on the tier you're in.EXAMPLE : ACTION CATEGORY
- Top 20 (From best amv with max points to the 20th with less - individual score).
- Tiers 1 (From top 21 to 30 - same points for everyone).
- Tiers 2 (From top 31 to 40 - same points for everyone).
- Tiers 3 (From top 41 to 50 - same points for everyone).
Etc.Obviously, if you're placed in Tier 1, you'll receive more points than the other AMVs ranked in Tier 2, 3, etc.
We want to emphasize, that your position in these tiers are NOT a numerical ranking. Everyone within the tier is placed at random order, and will get the same amount of points.-----------------------------------------------------
