Dear AMV editors, we're back and we hope that you're still around (coz where else would you be?)


This year's edition is the 17th, and the 11th where you get to battle as a team of 3 and compete against each other in all of the AMV categories that are available.

So to start this new STIC decade, we've decided to change everything !!

Ok we're actually not, the rules will remain the same (because they're cool right?)
BUT we're adding a special twist.

We wanted to reward the people who are the most audacious in the contest, the tryhards that will do anything to get out of the lot and bring more points to their teams.

So let me resume, there will be a new way for you to gain a few extra points for your team ranking and give your side more chances of winning this audacious edition of Soul's Team IC.

Here is how to gain a few extra points (for your team ranking):


1/ Edit an Audacity Song

There will be in each Music pack : 3 AUDACITY SONGS for each category, editing those will bring you +1pts in your team ranking those songs are chosen by the judges and are considered a bit harder to edit. Note that 1pts isnt a lot so dont feel like you have to pick those songs, it's just a small bonus if you wanna play for it.

2/ Winning a Special Prize   

- Best Overall (Judge Pick) Video +5pts
- Best Overall (Audience Pick) Video +3pts
- Best Editing Video* +5pts
- Best Story Video* +5pts
- Best VFX Video* +5pts

*cannot win multiple special prizes in these categories

3/ Being happy with your ranking 


Okay that actually brings no points, but at least you won't get too sad when you end up in 31st place.

- Logos, aliasing, subtitles, garbage / hentai sources or any kind of visual assault will be punished very severely with a free fall in the rankings.

. Iron Chef? It's not very complicated, it's a race against time. You simply make a video within a limited time (here 72h) with a date and start time and an end date and end time that you'll find above.
Common sense reminder : EVERYTHING must be edited specially for ST IC starting on the moment the music is available.

1. Find two teammates. (Your two best friends since highschool for example)
2. Find a stylish name for the team that you just created (example: Psg Win Champions League 2021)
3. Then each of you will have to choose a category from the 6 available (a bit lower on this topic).
4. It's good you feel strong enough with your team? Well fill the form at the end of the topic to register.
5. When the contest is starting, music packs will be available to you and you'll have to choose music to edit in the category you participate in.
6. You have chosen your music? Then it's up to you to make an AMV with it. Once you finish your AMV, you will upload it to a server that will be made available before the deadline.

Nothing changes compared to previous editions.

- 1 team = 3 editors
- 1 editor = 1 category = 1 clip
- 2 ranking = 1 per category, 1 global team ranking
- A ranking by categorization
- A  general team ranking will be done according to the individual ranking of your teammates (example: Donald came 25th in psyche? Well then Donald has ruined all the chances for his team to win this Iron Chef).

So logically the team on the top, of the ranking will be the big winners of this IC.
