I was meaning to post this earlier, but I fell asleep at 10 in the morning and woke up at 3 in the afternoon like a good little boy. I'm tagging my personal commentary on this video as a spoiler, so if anyone is interested in reading on what I thought of this experience, go right ahead and click My Personal Commentary to reveal it.
My personal commentary:
Anywho, sup guys? Like a lot of other people, this is also my first time joining this awesome IC event. I was actually pretty shocked that this wasn't as intimidating as I exaggerated to myself...didn't think I would actually complete something in about 3 days. Anyway, I'm sorry that this is another Action entry...it's basically the only genre that I have the most comfort in, and I also don't really watch plenty of comedy anime either...had I done that, I woulda done Fun genre, but whatever. The funny thing is, I have three different project files for this IC contest. The first one was this same anime but with a different song. I had a good amount of hardcuts I did in about 2 hours. The second one was pretty much entirely different, where I had something going for it, but I lost it entirely upon getting up to the 25 second mark..and it was slowly looking like it wasn't really an Action video. This is the third project file, which resulted in being my final output for the IC. Well, why this one? Well, to make a long story short, upon dropping my second project file and editing hardcuts for the first one, for some reason, i just booted this song up on the media player while hard-cutting, and then it hit me, that I would much prefer this one. Shout-outs to Fadoo for including this song in his folder for the music pack. Anyway, I shouldn't be rambling on about this. Sorry if it looks sloppy at some points...I'll most likely make another render in due time fixing the overall pace...and other minor issues...
Oh, and yes, I am asking for honest feedback on this. It'd be greatly appreciated...see what I can improve on for next time... Happy viewing.
