Hi everyone! It was my first time entering, and as expected, it didn't go without hickups. I had an extended powerout and couldn't start work until Sunday. I certainly didn't want to let my amazing and talented teammates, Fullmoon and EllipseIris down though.  

That's that. In the end I'm happy with how the video turned out.

I admire that you stuck it out despite having only a fraction of the time to work with. It's an engaging video, and i think you should be proud of what you accomplished in the time you had ^_^

it's the first time i see these casino scene in a mardock scramble amv. thank you. it makes it a lot more different than other vids made on it.

i like your theme a lot (intro <3).

I think that it was a weird idea to use casino as a main part of your video, it didn't feel really psyche or anything. I have mixed feelings about it but what really dragged you down was mostly the lack of rythm in all the fast parts of the songs. It also could have been a lot cleaner in the transitions, some weren't exactly all well executed.

Thank you, I really appreciate that you take the time to give feedback to everyone. With that said, I have to say I completely disagree.  The video wasn't good indeed, but for all the different reasons

In strictly my opinion, there is nothing wrong with casino. I would do a hundred more videos like this before doing some run-on-the-mill angsty circlejerk or re-editing some horror anime. Now, I could have and should have gone to a more psychological route instead of being action-y, but that just drives to my point: the fault wasn't with my concept, but rather the fact that I didn't do all that much with it. There was no clear narrative or point built from it.

Probably I wasn't the only one who just put scenes that looked good in a sequence, but some at least had an atmosphere going for their video.

As for the technical side, I myself see little wrong with the rhythm or transitions. They're nothing special, nothing clever or intuitive, they're just there. The rhythm is slow, "transitions" are mostly pure cut to the beat or simple crossfade following color and luma. Simple, yes, but I don't think it's lacking in the classic sense of the word. Boring or not up to the level in technical feats showcased by the high rankers, rather.

Again, I'm not questioning my score for a second. I just wanted to share that I have a different understanding of the problems of my entry.
