I think you blames our clips more than sources anime (naruto and evangelion) because of our editing Squall.

You shouldn't rate an AMV based on the source used. You could ask to luciole or anyone here, I really hate those kind of sources but just because this amv uses Naruto or Evangelion you can't say : IT'S BAD.

We are editors, we judge editing. Not the skills of the studio which created the anime.

lol, seriously, you can't say my vid is better than theirs. Those logos is just an epic fail of mine and I actually am quite surprised I still placed this high with those awesome-edit vids everywhere here. It's not about sources but skills and being VERY honest: I wouldn't be able to make such videos as those mentioned before that's why I totally agree with their position.

I watched the video about 10 times. I didn't see the logo, but I tried to spot it. So I downloaded the vid and put it into AE, for a deeper search. At last I saw it, by scaling the footage to 200%. Was that really a big deciding point for putting it lower than others?

It appears clearly for at least 6 seconds since we judged videos we did a really hard looking on all amv and we diden't lowered it but it's something that take of some points same as editing issues, bad fx, synch and so on.

She has allready a really good position, well deserved and tbh i don't understand all the drama.

If you downloaded it now from the thread, that version is slightly corrected. The version sent to judges had a plenty more logos that weren't that visible when vieweing the vid and I totally forgot about them cause I just didn't notice them and that was my fail. And yup, it is a good reason to lower the position, logos are lame.

+1 for Dn@, just quit this guys.

Don't blame me for something I did not do or say. I never said that that Luciole's and Nyala's vids are bad. What I meant was that Centurione did a better job. She chose a fresh source, she had a decent mix and a great synergy of m/v.
When it comes to Nyala and Luciole - yes, I don't like the sources. I think they are being used when you just have to make at least something for a short time contest like Iron Chef. It's just that we keep seeing this stuff over, over, over and over again. Why not praise originality and a fresh approach? Why not praise something which is actually good and new? Aren't you people getting bored of watching the same things all the time?
I don't have any issues with their editing. They are good authors, part of the best ones, in fact. But that's what I expect from an author of their caliber - something mindblowing, something cool and awesome. Something, that would make you think "wow, there's no way that guy made it in 3 days!". Something that in fact, you Dn@, made last year and rightfully owned the competition. But what do we get instead?

I clearly understand your opinion squall i also share it in some ways, i just said this in a general term that even if you and many others would have placed it higher we can't say that the clips in front are bad clips.

Nothing more but yeah tbh logo's in video are an issue and the one we received had many.
